As the owner of AboveTouch Anatomy Works, I pride myself in providing my clients exceptional treatment, training, and education.  With over 10 years of experience, I customize each session based on an individual's needs.  Modalities such as scraping (gua sha), cupping, muscle testing, stretch therapy, and TECAR are used to maximize recovery and reset the body.

I'm a firm believer in Assessing, Treating, and Reassessing the client.  Client education is key.  Those two concepts form the backbone of my approach and success in helping people reach their potential.

As a native Charlottean, I graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in Business Administration-Marketing Concentration.  During my time at NC State, I experienced my first massage from a friend when I injured myself at the gym. It was here that I learned the power of human touch to heal.  After college, and some soul searching, I decided to follow my intuition and become a massage therapist.  It's one of the best and most rewarding decisions I've made in my life.

Hi all! My name is Alexis and I have been educating myself on ways to live healthier since I was very young. My first real experience with fitness was in high school, where I had a coach show me some strength exercises that would help with my track performance. I fell in love and have been in a gym the majority of my years since. I have continued to push my knowledge on ways to move and feel better, graduating from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2018, and receiving my NASM certification for Personal Training in January 2024.

I enjoy getting to share my love of staying active, and recovery is just as important as building strength when it comes to a balanced lifestyle. Helping people feel confident in their bodies is one of the best parts about this field, and I have been so much happier since I've started getting to make genuine connections and a positive impact for a living.
